Resin Bound Driveway, Ewell, Surrey

This project in Ewell completely transformed the front of the property with a brand-new resin bound driveway, creating a smarter, more practical entrance while significantly improving the home’s kerb appeal.

The existing driveway was excavated and prepared from the ground up to ensure a durable, long-lasting installation. A weed control membrane was installed before a compacted Type 1 sub-base was laid to provide a stable foundation. We then installed a porous tarmac base, creating the perfect surface for the resin bound aggregate finish.

The result is a seamless, permeable driveway that not only looks fantastic but also provides excellent drainage and requires very little maintenance. Resin bound driveways offer a contemporary appearance while remaining hard-wearing enough for everyday vehicle use.

As part of the project, we also constructed new front entrance steps to improve access to the property and carefully repositioned an existing brick pier. These structural alterations allowed the new driveway layout to work more effectively while giving the frontage a balanced and welcoming appearance.

The completed installation has completely refreshed the property’s exterior, providing the homeowners with a beautiful new driveway that combines style, practicality and longevity.
