Resin Driveway FAQs

How do I clean a resin-bound surface?
To clean a resin-bound surface start simple: a stiff broom to lift leaves and grit. For a deeper clean, use a pressure washer with a fan-type lance, keep the nozzle moving and at least 200mm from the surface. Avoid turbo/needle jets or holding high pressure in one spot.
Will weeds grow through my resin surface?
No - nothing grows up through a resin-bound layer. Wind-blown seeds can settle on surface dust, so a quick sweep (and the odd low-pressure wash) keeps it clear. If needed, spot-treat with a mild, resin-safe weed killer.
What happens if oil or other substances spill on my resin drive?
If you spill oil or other substances on your resin drive, act quickly. Blot, then use a biodegradable oil remover and rinse with warm water. Skip harsh solvents and bleach -they can mark or damage the finish.
Can I use salt or de-icer in winter?
Yes rock salt and standard de-icers are fine on resin-bound surfaces. Spread evenly, then rinse away residues once conditions improve.
How often should I maintain my resin surface?
Light touch, every few months: sweep, quick wash, and check shaded areas for any algae. That’s it - clean look, year after year.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Our resin projects come with a 10-year product guarantee for added peace of mind.

Resin driveway and rear patio

9.75/10
Posted 26 October 2023
I used this company to replace my wooden decking and pergola with a raised paved patio and also to have my front drive resurfaced with resin bound as it was very tired crazy paving and shingle. I am delighted with the results. The drive in particular now looks amazing. The work was carried out professionally as per quote by their friendly team and I will definitely be using them to build the new pergola which is due shortly.

This company was absolutely incredible on the day. We have a large driveway that splits in two and on a steep hill. The guys would really hard all day to complete the new resin driveway. I couldn’t fault them on their workmanship and how hard they worked. They actually didn’t stop for 7 hours until complete

About Banstead

Banstead is a vibrant town in the borough of Reigate & Banstead, Surrey, situated on the northern edge of the North Downs and approximately 14 miles (22 km) south of central London. With a population of around 16,666 (2011 Census), it combines suburban ease with scenic greenbelt charm. A key natural feature is Banstead Downs – a 126.7‑hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest, famed for ancient Saxon burial mounds, diverse chalk grassland, and rare butterflies. The town centre boasts historic architecture around All Saints’ Church and benefits from efficient commuter access, including Banstead railway station in Travelcard Zone 6 with frequent Southern services to London.Banstead’s Recreation Ground hosts local cricket – the ground has even hosted Women’s One Day Internationals in 1986 and 1993, adding to its lively community spirit.

Banstead also carries intriguing historical legacies: remnants of a 19th‑century psychiatric hospital once stood on the Downs (now replaced by Downview and High Down Prisons) and a WWII prisoner‑of‑war camp was located in nearby woods. These layers of history enrich an already welcoming town that balances heritage, green spaces, and modern connectivity.
